At Together A Part (TAP), we believe every child is a universe of internal parts - some joyful, some hurting, and all of them vital. Our mission is to empower caregivers like you to help children understand and integrate these parts, fostering a sense of wholeness and belonging.

Through our therapeutic parenting packages and training, we provide the tools to see past behaviours and connect with the child's true needs. If you are a foster or adoptive parent, or work in a children's home, we are here to support you in creating a safe space where children can become their most authentic selves.

Unlike regular training providers, we work in partnership with your Support Agency to offer continuous support and development packages.

- 10 reflective practice sessions (1:1) / 5 small group sessions

What are your 1-1 sessions

Our therapeutic 1-1 sessions can be delivered in person locally or virtually and can last from 1-2 hours, depending on preference and need.

We work directly with the client to help them with any parenting challenges that they might be facing. The goal of the sessions is to help parents and carers to identify the behavioural needs and find strategies to effectively support the child in their care. 

What does your reflective practice sessions consist of?

Reflective practice sessions can be offered as individual or small group sessions. They can be booked in 1-2 hour slots and will be held as a reflective supervision session. Giving individuals the opportunity to discuss therapeutic practice in a safe environment.

DDP (Diadic Developmental Psychotherapy)underpins the foundation of all therapeutic reflective sessions.

Who can access reflective practice sessions?

Therapeutic reflective practice sessions are a highly effective and supportive tool for a wide range of individuals working in various roles where the care and support of children are paramount. 

Support can be accessed by (but is not limited to):

- Foster Carers

- Adoptive Parents

- Residential Care Staff

- Alternative Provision Teaching and Support Staff

- Family Support workers

- School Staff

- Social Workers

- Youth Workers

 

What type of bespoke service do you offer?

Bespoke sessions are arranged and tailored to the needs of the individual. Services range from 1-1 trauma-informed, relational practice that improves stability across a range of sectors. To create a whole organisation system change.

Will I receive feedback following booking with together a part?

Yes! Feedback is a big part of what TAP offers to clients. 

Whether you have booked in for school-specific consultancy or have invested in reflective practice sessions for your staff team. Follow-up feedback and, in some cases, ongoing support will be provided.

Can I attend Training in person or via a virtual platform?

At TAP we understand the diverse needs of our clients, so we have tried to ensure that our packages and training offers are as accessible as possible. 

We offer a range of in person and virtual training options, as well as e-learning content that can be accessed at your convenience.

What if I can't find what I am looking for?
