Group Sessions and Reflective Practice

Caring for children who have experienced adversity, trauma, or disrupted relationships is both deeply meaningful and incredibly complex. At Together A Part, we offer therapeutic, trauma-informed training and reflective practice spaces to support those caring for children in care, or those living with the effects of domestic abuse, parental conflict, and other challenging early experiences.
When children are living with the impact of trauma, whether through loss, neglect, or witnessing violence their behaviour often tells a deeper story. Our sessions help carers, professionals, and support teams move beyond behaviour management and into a place of real understanding, connection, and healing.
Through small group training and reflective spaces, we provide:
-
Practical tools grounded in attachment, trauma theory and child development
-
A safe, non-judgemental space to reflect on your experiences
-
Strategies to support emotional regulation, for children and adults alike
-
Compassionate insights into how trauma shapes behaviour and relationships
Whether you're a foster carer, social worker, key adult, or working within an agency or school setting, our sessions are designed to hold and strengthen those holding children.
